Please join us–writing faculty, graduate students, and program administrators from across the Commonwealth of Virginia–on Wednesday afternoon, January 12, from 3-4 p.m., for an hour-long dialogue about teaching writing. The event is meant to foster cross-talk that is supportive and generative for all who attend. Our open, informal conversation will be initiated with the following question: What are some specific ways your teaching foregrounds support for student well-being? How does your teaching practice bring about and sustain meaningful interactions related to student wellness? Depending on the number of people who attend, we might use breakout rooms for the first half of the session before reconvening as a larger group. The Zoom link will be emailed to the WAVA listserv.
