Please join us–writing faculty, graduate students, and program administrators from across the Commonwealth of Virginia–on Friday afternoon, October 15, from 3-4 p.m., for an hour-long dialogue about teaching writing. The event is meant to foster cross-talk that is supportive and generative for all who attend. Our open, informal conversation will be initiated with the following question: How have pandemic teaching modifications proven positive, generative, frustrating, or daunting for your teaching practice, considering the format(s)/modality(ies) you are teaching in this semester? Depending on the number of people who attend, we might use breakout rooms for the first half of the session before reconvening as a larger group. The Zoom link will be emailed to the WAVA listserv. If you have any questions, please contact Derek Mueller at dmueller@vt.edu.
